General Assistants are invited to enrol for the General Assistants Conference to be held at Checkers Resort, Terrey Hills on Wednesday 11th November 2015.
This conference aims to provide collegial support for General Assistants and to provide the opportunity to put forward suggestions and queries to our presenters to provide a forum for sharing ideas and information.
Presentations will include
- PSA - Greg Adnum - role related duties and training
- Employee Services - permanent/casual positions, leave entitlements, payroll processes
- First State Super - transition to retirement schemes
- Marilyn Smith - Dealing with Difficult People
- Kerry Stratford - WHS and Manual Handling
