SRG committee guidelines

SASS reference groups (SRGs) are responsible to optimise professional learning opportunities for school administrative and support staff by being a key stakeholder advisory body. They provide advice to the executive director regarding the development and implementation of school administrative and support staff professional learning plans.

 

SRG membership is filled by expression of interest. Members serve for a period of two years. At the end of this period, all positions are declared vacant. Members serving on a SRG may choose to renominate for membership for a subsequent two-year period.

 

Membership is open for a representative of each of the SAS staff categories.

·         Aboriginal Education Officer

·         School Administrative Officer – High school

·         School Administrative Officer – Primary school

·         School Administrative Manager – High school

·         School Administrative Manager – Primary school

·         School Administrative Manager – Small school (P5/P6)

·         General Assistant

·         School Learning Support Officer - Primary school

·         School Learning Support Officer - High school

·         Public Service Association representative nominated by the PSA

·         Executive Director nominee (Learning and Leadership Coordinator)
